Any previous bans/warns?
N/A
Describe your current level of activity on the server:
As of recently, the server hasn’t opened due to it’s current state. But my activity will range from 2-6 hours every day, up to 8-10 at most but sometimes unlikely.
Do you have access to a microphone?
Yes, I do.
Do you have any previous experience with police work?
Short term, no. I don't really know. On another server, my role is something that relates to a more of a government aspect. Meaning that the role I take on is a government worker, etc, lawyer. I work closely with those who are invested in the police-force, mainly during trials, lawsuits or when they would like to sue someone for assault charges against their character. In the court room, I can see how the police-force mainly works. Sometimes being close enough in block radius to hear their radio.
Do you have any experience with CombatRP?
Yes, I do have experience with CombatRP. Over the past couple months, I've spent my time on a different server that used and was mainly influenced by a rolling system such as Himera uses. My experience within CombatRP is limited, since I've refrained from CombatRP for a couple months. I would say I'm not overall fully confident in my CombatRP due to lack of detail some of the time, but I'd like to believe that when used in a more realistic sense in roleplay such as "P2L" commonly referred to as Play-to-Lose is when I'm slightly better at CombatRP I'd like to believe.
What motivates you to apply for HPD?
I’ve also been interested in police factions on roleplay servers. It was a clash between gang-role playing or being an officer but I wanted to be an officer first. Many of my friend’s have also recently gotten into HPD, inspiring myself to apply with hopes of getting in to provide a fun community. But mainly it's the people I've met that motivate myself to apply, I find them to be a great community to have a laugh with and I'd also like to meet new people on the community. Despite the rest of this, I've always grew fond of Police-roleplay on most servers. I find the raid's, police-work and forensics a rather fascinating field to go down with as a police force. But I'd mainly like to get invested in a more forensics type of roleplay within HPD upon acceptance and climbing up the ranks required..

27
Nationality:
British/Japanese
Preferred pronouns:

What motivates your character to join the force?
Rebecca grew up around a family of high intellectuals, many of them using their intellect to provide safety and security to the citizens of wherever they went. During a traumatic event when Rebecca was young, she discovered a disgust for seeing blood at all. Making her wish to throw up at the sight of it, after the traumatic event and one of her siblings' brave acts. It inspired her, maybe in the future she could be brave and save someone.
Is your character familiar with self-defense?
During her starting year in highschool, she developed a rather harsh combat-style. One associated with mainly brute-forcand that only, her desire to knock an opponent off their feet and onto the ground was wonderful for her. But her style lacked agility and defence, leaving her defenceless if they dodged the attack which led to her getting bruised for a couple months. As her first year came to an end, she joined a self-defence class for the next following years of her life until graduation.
How well does your character work with others?
Rebbeca herself can find it difficult at certain times to work with co-workers at certain times. The main cause behind her behavior regarding this is simply her pride for her family name. Leading herself to over-thinking, causing thoughts that may produce stress for her-self that could cause miscommunication between co-workers at certain times. The main parts as to what leads to herself overthinking is during a heated argument, or dispute. Causing herself to struggle, leading to herself and her pride getting in the way.
Is your character independent or a team player?
Rebecca Masaru views herself as one to lean more to a team player. Rebecca grew to a more inclined person after their parents tragically died, causing herself to rely more on her siblings and family for support then she required to in the past. With her time she spent mostly with family after the tragic event, becoming more dependent on them. She would listen to her family around her, anyone but someone that was younger then her that held no authority. She responded to questions or demands civilly, trying to give her in-put when needed.
What makes your character unique?
Rebecca possessed short black hair, and ears that looked odd or out of place. She stood at 5’7. Her eye’s were black and she had a faint smell of cigarettes that lingered around her. Rebecca’s behaviour is mainly distant, ignoring others on purpose or keeping to herself for a long period of time if it wasn't something urgent. She tends to stick alone or stay behind a group of people, watching them from afar.
Backstory [100+ words]
LONDON
Rebecca grew up as a girl that wasn’t respected by her peers. She was an odd and weird girl to her, taking an interest in things such as birds. Birds fascinated her, how they flew and how they worked. Along with other simple creatures, such as rats and mice. This led to her being called odd or weird by her peers, however she ignored it most of the time. Finding it to be funny or a joke. As Rebecca turned 12, issues in her life soon troubled her. The name calling got out of hand, leaving to stress on her end.
LONDON, DINNER
As she grew older, just now turning 13. The stress onto her was enough already, but luckily for her there was a family dinner. She went with her siblings and parents on Sunday to a local restaurant, Lloyd and Cedric were telling non-hilarious jokes, trying to be funny but rather failing. Malcolm however, was rather silent during the meal and avoided eating most of the food. On Rebecca’s end, she’d enjoy her meal and her cold glass of water. After they left the dinner, they went to a short-cut to try and avoid a large crowd awaiting them. Soon after, as Cedric and Llyod were just starting to be funny a large BANG was heard, the siblings and Rebecca jumped in fear. They froze in place, the sight of their parents' bodies hitting against the stone cold floor frightened them. The kid snapped back into reality, immediately running in the opposite direction. They found a local grocery store, using it as shelter until the police arrived. They shook and shivered until the police arrived.
AGE 16; SUFFERING
After the traumatic event and constantly moving with family members, something deep in Rebecca’s heart felt fear for her life. Constantly thinking something was going to happen to her and her loved ones because of the situation, the fear that was left. Rebecca started going to therapy to focus on her mental state instead, taking her time slowly to mend her broken mentality. Overtime, her mentality made a small patch over the next few years. However, developing a disgust for blood.
AGE 25; GRADUATION
After graduating from highschool at eighteen, she pushed forward to apply for a university in Britain and got in. Here she spent the next four years of her life, pushing forward to maintain a steady education and credits to achieve a Masters in Criminal Justice when she was 22. The next three years she spent pushing, working part-time jobs for experience that fit with her school timetable. During these next three years, her hard-work would have paid off. Getting her a bachelors in law, however. Despite her hate for blood, her siblings around her pursued a similar career to her. WIshing to not be left behind, finding family to be her only place she fit in she pushed forward with them. Until they all graduated, happily.
AGE 27; HONSHU ISLAND.
The next few years after graduation, the Masaru’s moved to Honshu island for a new fresh place to start. Many of them took an interest in the exclusive jobs of the island in need of officers, and their past experience being able to match it with their degrees. Presenting themselves forward and moving to the island, Rebecca started her life anew. With her sole goal to protect the citizens of this island and provide safety without fear of walking in the streets.
Level of education [Associates, Bachelors, Masters, etc.]
Masters in Criminal Justice and Bachelors in Law
Scenarios:
If charged by an armed delinquent, how should you react?
"Starting off, I'd immediately radio for backup. Seeing as their armed and charging as me, it is most likely they wouldn't have anything to lose. So they might be carrying someone sharp enough to stab me. Once I've sent out my radio call-out I'd then unholster my taser if I have the time, firing it at the armed suspect. If I were to hit him, I'd first try to disarm their weapon. Once that's over, I'd cuff him and take him to the station while carrying the weapon in a bag or with gloves. If I were to miss the taser shot, I'd immediately try to get out of that situation until backup arrives."
While you are at the station, another officer sends out a distress signal. What do you do?
"If I'm off-duty, I'd run back to the station and begin to put my uniform back on. Once I've done that, I'd radio to see if anyone else is available to head out to the distress call. If I get a response, I'd move out with them searching for the location regarding the signal. If no one were to respond to the distress call, going out alone might just end up causing more harm then good. All I could possibly due would be to check CCTV and inform Emergency Services inside the hospital where he whereabouts is and if it's clear. If the area is clear, I'd meet up with Emergency Services and go towards the officer with caution."
You are surrounded by several armed individuals; how do you react?
"I'd try to press my distress signal, if I'm surrounded then it's unlikely for myself to get out. It'd be better to try and get backup rather then attempt to go against five, six, seven people at a time. If my signal is pressed, the best I could do is throw one to the ground and try to get out. If that goes according to plan, I'd take out my taser and try to tase one whilst waiting on backup. Then try to leave the scene before I end up getting myself more injured."
You believe a higher up officer is abusing their power, what do you do?
"I'd spend my time trying to gather evidence. Once evidence has been gathered hopefully, I'd report it straight to the commissioner or deputy commissioner."
Additional notes:
I've moved my account from 'ToeyCheese' to 'Dennis'. Because I thought I could've changed my display name but it appears not, I'm sorry if the display name looked rather weird at first.
