IGN: AnonymousDemonX RP Name: Taro Yakazuki Age: 29 Character backstory and description (over 200 words): Taro Yakazuki is a Japanese Male that moved to Himera from Karakura (another mcrp server). He stands at 6'5 and weighs 184 pounds, he has a lean body and wears hoodies and jackets with pants or sweats, depends on the mood. He a pretty straightforward and somewhat honest person, he isn't afraid to tell others what they need to hear rather then what they want to hear like if he got a gf and she asked if she was cute, Taro would say she is but would say whatever makes her look bad. Other then being straightforward he's actually a pretty chill guy who hangs out with ppl and plays sports. Taro had a hard life in the past due to criminal violence. Taro Yakazuki was born into a peaceful and loving family in the heart of a close-knit suburban neighborhood. His parents, Thomas and Emily Yakazuki, were both hardworking individuals who instilled strong values of empathy, kindness, and community in their son. Taro grew up surrounded by the warmth of his family, playing in the front yard, attending neighborhood events, and forming strong bonds with his parents and younger brother. Their idyllic life took a tragic turn when a notorious gang moved into the area and began exerting their influence over the neighborhood. The gang engaged in various criminal activities, including drug trafficking, extortion, and violence. The Yakazuki family, being deeply rooted in the community, tried their best to resist the gang's pressure and continue living their lives as they always had, refusing to be intimidated. Unfortunately, this resistance didn't sit well with the gang. One fateful night, as Taro's family sat down for dinner, a group of gang members stormed their home in a violent act of retaliation. A confrontation erupted, resulting in the tragic deaths of Taro's parents, leaving him and his brother as the sole survivors. Taro, who was just a teenager at the time, narrowly managed to escape through the backyard with his younger brother, his world shattered and his innocence forever lost. Haunted by the traumatic events of that night, Taro made it his mission to seek justice for his family and put an end to the reign of terror the gang had brought upon his neighborhood. He turned to a retired police officer who had known his family well for guidance and training. Taro dedicated himself to physical and mental training, honing his skills in self-defense, investigation, and strategy. Over the years, Taro became a skilled vigilante, adopting the persona of "Joker," a symbol of chaos, retribution, and a relentless pursuit of justice. He used his knowledge of the neighborhood and its inhabitants to gather information on the gang's operations and worked tirelessly to dismantle the gang from the inside out. Along the way, he forged alliances with other victims of the gang's cruelty, pooling their resources and skills to achieve their shared goal of reclaiming their neighborhood. Taro's journey as Joker is not only driven by his desire for justice but also by his determination to preserve the legacy of his peaceful family. The thing that motivates me to apply and to take the position seriously and being dedicated is my curiosity. I've never roleplayed as a cop in any mcrp server and I'd really like to try that out, I think I would enjoy it and that I can fulfill the role adequately. Level of education [Associates, Bachelors, Masters, etc.] PHD Scenarios: If charged by an armed delinquent, how should you react? I would react by getting my Taser out and firing it at the suspect. Once down I would immediately search and remove any weapons. After that I would call it in before cuffing and sending them to Himura Police Department. I would then make my way to the station and cell he's in to continue with due-process procedures. While you are at the station, another officer sends out a distress signal. What do you do? I would let other officers know over radio that I'm going to be responding the the distress signal. I would then make my way down to the officers location to see what the situation is. I would then talk with the officer that made the distress signal after whatever confrontation gets handled just so I can get a statement on what happened. I'd then let him continue with what he was doing unless the officer required more assistance. You are surrounded by several armed individuals; how do you react? I would immediately call it in, after doing that I would try to de-escalate the situation to buy myself some time for other police to show up at the very least. After successfully managing the situation and when other cops arrive I would start by telling all of them to face a wall with my Taser out as well as other officers. You believe a higher up officer is abusing their power, what do you do? Well I would start by getting bodycam footage of what they are doing if anything. If I successfully get a clip of the officer doing something that would consider him abusing powers I would report him and send the clip wherever that report is made.
