OOC section: IGN: scenegrl Discord [ex. habilitation]: l0v3rg1rlx Time zone: UK Timezone (+1 GMT) Any previous bans/warns? I have a completely clean record on this server, no bans and no warns. Describe your current level of activity on the server: If I was to have access to the server, I'd say that it'd be a 8, 9 being a stretch. Do you have access to a microphone? I do have access to a microphone. Do you have any previous experience with police work? I don't have any previous experience with police work. Do you have any experience with CombatRP? I do have experience with CombatRP, in fact I have a screenshot that I will link here to show somewhat of what i'm capable of. Below is the link of something I am capable, this action was during combat, from SRP. https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/1221666047778623550/1234500593402384474/7AC14E80-4582-42BD-9874-2A9FA3727B42.png?ex=6630f5c5&is=662fa445&hm=d20b09b440f06fedbd540a4916cdb3a1678cbc2a8e13d7fd890a30ac359f2834& What motivates you to apply for HPD? I've always been interested in crime and justice, and HPD gives an offer for being able to experience what it's like to experience the force from a first person perspective. As a kid, I used to watch a series where there'd be Police Officer's doing their best to fight against crimes, and that's really inspired me as a person. I want to become a Crime Scene Psychologist, OOCly, due to the inspiration it's given me. I have always been inspired by victims getting justice, and this would be me being able to give said victims justice! This would be quite the experience for me, and it'd be new to me, of course. If I have the opportunity to do this, not only would it help me find more of my footing on what to do when the time comes, but it'd confirm the fact that I do in fact want to carry on with the pathway I am going. I honestly would love to do this as it'd be a great opportunity for me, not just that but I think it'd be extremely fun. It'd be an honour to be able to do this for me, but also I'd find it entertaining. IC information: Character name: Jeom Minori Character age: 29 Nationality: Korean Preferred pronouns: She/Her What motivates your character to join the force? She has always been interested in the justice aspect of crime, for those that were victims, wanting them to get the justice they deserve. Not only that, she wants to better her family's reputation, and this would in fact help her do so. As a little girl, she'd always found herself pretend-playing, like she was an officer and taking down "Bad Guys" (Her toys.) This shows her motivation, to make the world a better place all around, step by step. Her motivation is something that is un-moveable, a force to be reckoned with. Is your character familiar with self-defense? My character is a little TOO familiar with it, due to her family's background, always getting into trouble, and with Jeom's bad luck, she'd become a part of it too. This ended up causing her to learn how to fend for herself, essentially leading to her doing well combat-wise. How well does your character work with others? My character Jeom does rather well with others, although she does like time to herself every now and then. This is due to the fact she is an AMBIVERT, a mixture of Introverted and Extroverted. This does mean that at times she may struggle to do so, but she will pull through, even if it's by a thread. Is your character independent or a team player? My character is a mixture of both, due to being an Ambivert as previously mentioned. Sometimes she'll like to be independent, and sometimes she'll like to play in a team. It all really depends on her social battery, whether it's high or low, which would then determine what route she'd take. Other than that, she adapts to both rather well. What makes your character unique? Something that makes my character unique, is her rather depressing strike of Bad Luck. This has followed her ever since she was a child, and will likely follow her for the rest of her life. This makes her seen as unique, due to the fact many people like to make their character's unnecessarily lucky, meanwhile, she is the polar opposite. Whilst of course she does have a strike of Bad Luck, there will be strings of Good Luck intertwined within. Backstory [100+ words] Jeom's life started off in Seoul, Korea, with the rest of the Minori Family. This, was the epitome of happiness for her, a clueless, chirpy child to the world. Each moment she'd find herself playing with her toys and younger siblings, usually playing a pretend game of where she'd take a role of a cop, either interrogating or taking down bad guys. Each time she'd find herself getting a passion, deep inside her heart, a passion that wouldn't go away easily. Soon enough, she'd have the family secret revealed to her at the young age of 13, finding out something that could only be described as heartbreaking. The family was deeply ridden into the criminal underground, which they'd invited Young Jeom into. Of course, she'd decline the offer immediately, wanting to live a life of peace and freedom, a life that crime could not give her. Soon, she'd find herself scrambling, stuck in the middle of anything, she'd be the rather unlucky, innocent victim to the other criminal's who quite frankly did not agree with the Minori Family. At the age of 18, she'd find herself and the family being moved to Himera, something must've gone awry, is what she thought. And she wasn't exactly wrong, it happened to be that indeed. This is when she'd put a plan into place, wanting to start a life which could better not only the family's reputation, but also help her forget the past of the family. Now that she was out of harms way, she found now would be the time to focus on the dream job she'd always wanted. Eventually, once she'd turned 29, she'd join into the police force as a Cadet, wanting to combat the very thing she'd been a first-hand experiencer of, although keeping her family out of danger at the same time, that, for now, leaves her story at a halt. Level of education [Associates, Bachelors, Masters, etc.] Masters: Leadership, Law, Criminal Justice. Bachelors: Forensic Investigation, Criminology and Psychology. Scenarios: If charged by an armed delinquent, how should you react? If I happen to be charged by an armed citizen in general, I will pull out my taser and warn them to stand back, sending a distress signal through immediately. If they do not co-operate, I would have no choice but to tase the individual, landing them on the floor ready for detainment. (Action for said Scenario Below) I'd hastily pull out my taser, yelling out in a bold, rather booming voice. "STAND BACK NOW, PLACE DOWN THE WEAPON!" (If co-operative) I'd assess the surroundings before kicking the weapon out of the way, placing handcuffs on them and reciting the Miranda Rights calmly. "You are under arrest for the attempt of assault towards a government official, you have the right to remain silent and anything you say can and will be used against you in the court of law." After doing so, I'd keep a steady grip onto the individual, hoisting them over to whether they'd need to be and letting the other officers deal with the rest. (If non co-operative) I'd fire off the taser at the individual, aiming directly at their leg. This, would cause them to fall to the floor. "YOU ARE UNDER ARREST FOR ATTEMPTING TO ASSAULT A GOVERNMENT OFFICIAL, YOU HAVE THE RIGHT TO REMAIN SILENT AND ANYTHING YOU SAY CAN AND WILL BE USED AGAINST YOU IN THE COURT OF LAW!" I'd then take a few shallow breaths, attempting to calm down from the situation as I'd walk closer to the individual, placing handcuffs on their arms, keeping a tight grip on them to make sure they wouldn't make a run for it, assessing the area around me as i'd do so. While you are at the station, another officer sends out a distress signal. What do you do? If other officers are at the station, I would gather a patrol squad of officers, also radioing for EMS, before charging to the area of which the distressed officer is located. You are surrounded by several armed individuals; how do you react? If surrounded by several armed individuals, I would take out my Gun/Taser, pulling it out infront of me whilst simultaneously sending out a distress signal, trying to de-escalate the situation as I'd wait for the other officers to arrive at the scene. (Actions for Scenario below) I'd take a deep sigh, knowing my possible demise if this situation was to continue any further. "Let's all just. . Take a step back, put the weapons down. I'm sure you wouldn't want a heftier sentence, and I don't want to have to give that either." I'd say, trying to buy myself time as i'd press the distress signal on my radio, looking at each one of them. "See, I turned the Radio off. I can't radio anyone to come over now." I'd still be a bit weary of them all, not lowering my taser one bit. "Let's all stay calm now, yes?" You believe a higher up officer is abusing their power, what do you do? If I happen to believe a higher-up officer is abusing their power, I will report it to the commissioner, say it's an Advisor or something along those lines, giving supportive evidence to the fact. Something I will NOT do is confront the officer themselves, as that can be unnecessarily dangerous for either parties involved.

OOC INFORMATION: IGN: scenegrl Age: I’m not too willing to share my age around, but if asked in DM’s I will share it. Timezone: GMT (UK Timezone) If you have discord, what is your tag? l0v3rg1rlx Do you have a working microphone? Yes, I do. Any bans/warnings? N/A (Clean record!) List any past/current applications. N/A (I have none!) What is your motivation for joining EMS? My motivation for joining EMS is the fact I am personally learning Psychology OOCly, and I think it’d help me advance with that line of work. Another point of interest is to gain a new roleplay experience, which i’d find highly interesting. State the role you are applying for [Nurse, Doctor, Surgeon, Psychiatrist] Psychiatrist List all the departments of EMS and what they do. Doctor: Doctors are people who aid someone in the more physical aspects of healthcare, with things such as consultations, prescribing medication, treating stab wounds, and much much more. Doctors are detrimental to the working environment, and are a drastic part of medical practices, being one of the many main pillars that hold up the environment, being a lot more important to the structure of the hospital than people think. Psychiatrist: Psychiatrists are people who aid someone in the more mental of aspects of healthcare, helping with mental wellbeing, therapy, diagnosis, rehabilitation and more. They are seen as just as detrimental to the working environment as doctors are, being a massive part in helping others recover from traumatic experiences and more. They commonly work in a Psychiatric Ward, but may be seen elsewhere. Surgeon: Surgeon's control and partake in the surgical side of things, such as sewing up wounds, helping bring someone back to life or more. They are another important factor to the hospital, as they stand by Doctors, and usually make co-ordinated decisions. They attend emergency calls alongside others when necessary. Nurse: Nurse's take care of patients, nurturing them back to help as they need, usually fetching stuff like IV Drips or getting a cup of tea, food etc. They also help Doctor's during consultations, grabbing stuff that may be needed. They tend to do chores around the hospital too, cleaning up if the cleaners aren't around. How active are you?How familiar are you with Detail/Medical RP? I find myself being rather active on discord, and I know i’d be very active on Himera too when access is given. I have quite a lot of experience of DetailRP due to SRP, as I find it enjoyable to do. On the other hand, I haven’t done so much MedicalRP, but I do know what I am doing in that scenario. Do you acknowledge that at any point you can be demoted or removed if given a valid reason? [Ex: Guidelines, Skipping Trainings, etc.) I do acknowledge that at any point I may be either demoted or removed without a valid reason for specified things. Signature: scenegrl IN-CHARACTER SECTION: PART 1: Character Apprehension: Tell us about your character; how do they look, and what makes them unique? My character Jeom is a dark-purple haired Korean woman, standing at around 5’6 in height with a few scars slid across her face, giving a mysterious aura to those who’d gaze upon her. Her scars are one of the things that make her unique, as she was in fact NOT a criminal. Her whole life she was simply an innocent school girl who was unluckily prayed upon, which brings us to another thing that makes her unique! Sadly for Jeom, she tends to be rather unlucky in life, with things not always going the way she’d wish for them to go. Explain your character’s outlook on co-workers, personality, and future life. Jeom’s outlook on her co-worker’s is rather innocent and respectful, she finds them all just as respectable as her and will always treat them as so. Although she can be seen as blunt to others, she hopes that her co-worker’s see the true side to herself. That brings us to the next part - Her personality. Jeom’s personality in her eyes can be seen as rather brutal and as stated before blunt, yet she has a true side to herself that she hopes others see, that of which being kind, forgiving and rather attentive. Jeom sees her future life being fulfilled nicely, continuing the family legacy with her eventual husband and also of course focusing on her career, that of which she’ll continue to do until retirement comes by. Does this character have a criminal past? This character has no criminal background herself, but her family on the otherhand does. Background:[Minimum 100 words] Jeom Minori was born in Seoul, by her mother Min-Hye and her father, Jeong-Su. She’d live there blissfully for quite a while, before catastrophe struck in the family, the police had found out of the underground Korean Mafia that the family had been running, that of which Jeom had no part in. Once the disaster had started, she and her family fled to Himera in hopes that they’d remain safe, finding themselves closure with where they’d be. Yet, a part of her was left at Seoul she’d never gain back. The innocence that her mind once had, never to be found again. PART 2: Character Details: Character’s Full Name: Jeom Minori Character’s Title: [e.g. Mrs, Mx, Mr, etc] Miss Character’s Age: [25+ -70] 29 Years Old Character’s Gender: Female Character’s Nationality: Korean Character’s Marital Status: Unwed PART 3: Academic Details: Working Experience(s): “I have had experience in Seoul National University College of Medicine, that of which was entertaining and fun. There was a few hiccups here and there, but I found myself getting on quite well during my time learning there as a Medical Student.” Years of Residency: “I had 9 Years of Residency during my time there, that of which I enjoyed greatly.” Academic Degree: Major (s): Child and Adolescent Psychology, Clinical Psychology. Minor (s): Counseling Psychology, Law, Criminology. Oath: I do in fact pledge to do everything in my power for my patients and co-worker’s, without fail. As a physician of Himera, you pledge to practice medicine with humility, honesty, compassion, and integrity. You will provide the best care to the citizens of Himera, refraining from judgment, the patient’s past, or your own beliefs. Signature: Miss Jeom Minori
