CHARACTER INFORMATION
•What is your character's personality?:
She is a sweet and kind person. She ensures that if someone is hurt, she checks to make sure they are alright before proceeding further. She can become serious when her class misbehaves, and she stands her ground if there is a fight at the school.
•What does your character look like?:
•Walking through the halls of Halcyon Academy, you notice a student bullying/harassing another student. How would you react?:
I would walk up to them and ask both whats going on and first ask the person harassing the other student why they are doing it in the first place. Before doing anything, I would give them a warning and then go talk to HR about the situation to make sure they have a close eye on the student that was doing the bullying. If I catch them again doing it to a different student, I’ll have them follow me to the HR office and have them handle it.
•You see a student using contraband on Halcyon Academy grounds. How would you handle this situation?:
I would go to them immediately and force them to give it to me before I take them to HR and let them handle it. I will make sure I will also give HR the contraband before continuing my patrol around the school when I don’t have a class.
•You see a faculty member disobeying the Halcyon Academy Code of Conduct. What do you do?:
I would let the staff know about what was happening in the current situation. I’ll send screenshots about what is going on and make sure to let them know what rules of the code of conduct they broke. Before anything, I will have to make sure I was right before telling the staff what was wrong.
•While grading papers during your free period, you notice that one of your students is failing your class. How would you address this situation?:
Looking at the paper, I would write down on the paper to see me after class and ask what was going on and causing the failure in the class. I will make sure to help them as much as I could and if they need additional help, I will assign them a tutor to determine the most help they need.
•A student is acting out of line during your class. They are being disruptive and disrespectful to their peers. How do you handle this?:
Since they are breaking one of my rules and the school rules, I will speak to them after class and if they do not show up, I will make sure to take the further steps forward applying detention or worse, calling HR to help me handle the situation. If it needs to be immediately applied to them, I will assign detention or call the SRO to the classroom to escort them out.
•Write 3-5 /me's of how your character would act throughout the school day. Think about actions they might do while teaching, after class, in the break room, etc:
/me Kuroitashi would be looking at her students’ work on the paper she handed out to them at the beginning of class to see if anyone needs help. Before she stood up and walked around to make sure everyone is on task, afterwards she would sit on her chair again and look at her papers that she is grading for her students and continue to grade.
/me Kuroitashi would be walking around the halls before stopping and looking around to make sure everyone is behaving. She would notice someone come up to her before kindly speaking to them, wondering what has happened or what they needed her help with.
/me Kuroitashi would be in the breakroom speaking to her fellow colleagues about her class and the other class, speaking about how each class is interesting. She loves the fusion of art and math, so she was listening deeply to how their classes are going.
