What Language are you applying for?: Spanish
How did you character learn the language?: Eun Kubo is the oldest child of the Kubo family, his parents being Dolores and Saburo Kubo. With his father being Korean and his mother being Afro-Spaniard, he heard the Spanish language in his household from a young age. He was always confused at a young age when his parents would speak Spanish, but as he got older, he became more interested in it. He wanted to be able to have conversations with his parents in this language that was foreign to him. So, he talked with his mother and she agreed to help him with this learning curve. They started off by learning letters, then transferring into greetings and simple foods, places, etc. Once they started to incorporate verbs, Eun started to struggle more than he had been. So, they started to use new ways of studying including flashcards and mini review games like ay caramba. He started to progress through learning the language until he was at the point where he could formulate fairly complex sentences through both writing, as well as speech. Now, he still works on his Spanish as there is still more for him to learn, especially about the culture. He will continue to progress to the point where he can become completely fluent in the language.
How does this benefit your character's roleplay?: It would benefit my character's roleplay as he is part of a heavily Spanish speaking family, so it will improve the background of the character, also improving the lore.
