  1. OOC Information: IGN: cynicxal Discord: re-l#7768 Do you have a microphone? I, infact, do have a microphone. Timezone CST Any Previous ban/warns? No, none. How active are you? I'm a pretty active person when it comes to having important roles within communities like SchoolRP. I'd keep my efficiency on SeoulRP when it comes out because I have been waiting for about a month and I'm preeetty excited to play it when it comes out. I'd say my activity hours range around 7-10 hours per day, 6-8 hours during the week. Why are you interested in joining EMS? I'm quite interested in EMS mainly because it seems like a very interesting job to partake in. It has a lot of things I can learn and definitely benefit from during roleplay. It's definitely an exciting role to play, especially when you get to see all the action. I also think joining EMS will give me great fun and amazing new skills I didn't know I could even bring out. What skills can you bring to EMS? I can bring efficiency, activeness, a positive mindset, and skill. Although I do not have much experience in the medical field, I can definitely quickly learn and use what I've learned to the best of my ability. It may be hard, but I am also willing to put in the effort of bringing as much helpfulness as I actively can. I've had experience in making a roleplay enjoyable, so I can bring some fun and entertainment instead of stale and boring. What role are you applying for? [E.g: Surgeon, Psychiatrist, Paramedic, Nurse] Psychiatrist. Are you familiar with Detailrp? I am quite familiar with DetailRP although I haven't really used it much up until recently. I've been practicing my skills recently and although they aren't the best, I am well aware of how efficient and actually detailed I really need to be. It might take me some time to get decently efficient with the DetailRP, but I am most definitely willing to put in the effort of improving my skills with it. ex.; /me would gesture for the client to follow behind her. She stopped in front of the door and placed her right hand onto the doorknob, twisting it quickly and flinging it open. She stepped to the side, once more gesturing the patient inside of the room before stepping in herself and closing the door behind her. She walked to a singular chair, placing her body gently onto the squishy cushion. Once she was fully seated, she let out a breath, putting one leg over the other. She began to speak in a medium, soft voice. Do you acknowledge you may be demoted if caught breaking any rules or guidelines? I am well aware of this. IC Information: Character name: Lim Myung-Sook (임 명숙) Age: 25 Current occupation: Graphic designer, earns her money through websites that allow her to put up artwork for money. Languages Spoken: Korean, Russian, Mandarin. Why would you like to join EMS? Joining the EMS would bring me great joy and happiness, allowing me to help others with mental, physical, or anything dealing with mentality. Helping people recover from strong feelings, urges, and illnesses like mental disabilities such as ADHD, depression, anxiety ect. gives me such a warm feeling. Them allowing me to help them gives me motivation to help more and more people, knowing how many I can actually help and fully giving them a healthy and proper recovery is a large sigh of relief in itself. I feel as if it would be a heavy job, but definitely worth it in the end as I get to help many people who are dealing with way too much onto their shoulders and help them release all of the stress and anxiety, even with trauma. What is your characters outlook on team work? Myung-Sook has an interesting outlook on teamwork. She thinks it's a very important aspect especially working on a literal team of people. Cooperating with them and communicating is a must. Having people to work by her side makes her more comfortable and safe with her job, getting feedback on what she should improve on and overall just having other people to talk to about work-related things, or just to talk when there isn't a busy day. Team-work is definitely a key aspect and should be used daily, or every time a shift with multiple co-workers are present. What is your characters personality like? She is strongly determined and kind. She doesn't like failure as much but if needed, she will accept it. She's a heavily strong-willed woman, and willing to do anything in her power to help those in need. She is kind-hearted, soft, and definitely has a sense of humor. She intends to become a successful influence in lives, as well as make any future job a huge commitment. She's a hard-headed woman when it comes to demands and failure, and will exceed expectations in any way she can to be an amazing co-worker and person in general. She considers herself an "original piece of artwork" that has beautiful colors that radiate onto people she surrounds. How does your character work under pressure? Myung-Sook works kind of iffy under pressure. Background Myung-Sook was born in her hometown of Damyang. She was born into a low-class family, her parents having low paying jobs and two other siblings living under the small, housed roof. When she had turned 12, her younger years being incredibly boring, her parents forced her to run errands for the family to make extra money such as: hand out newspapers on the street, sell clothes her mother had made, and walk around the streets to sell her painting talent she had discovered at age 7. Her mother, Eun-Sook was a huge part of her life. Taking care of her as best she could when she was able to, trying her best to be there for her. But her father wasn't the same. He had never made time for his wife or children, causing emotional trauma. Her mother worked the job of a clothing manufacturer, selling clothes she had made and clothing other companies sold in shops around the town or even on the streets. Myung-Sook's father was an oil worker, not making much. He usually used the money on himself, but it didn't get him much. Her mother mainly paid for the food and electricity they could barely keep alone. Her two siblings, ages 7 and 4, were homeschooled by a teacher who willingly gave them free lessons. By the time Myung-Sook was 15, an unfortunate and traumatizing event happened. While her mother was away in the midst of cooking, the stove had caught a fire causing the house to catch aflame. Myung-Sook thankfully survived, although she was burned all down her right arm and leg. She was rushed to the hospital, deemed to have 3rd degree burns. By 6 months of painful healing, it had left scars that were to remind of her the traumatizing experience. Though, that never stopped her from continuing on freely. Later on in Myung-Sook's life, she grew to be a strong-willed girl and at age 18, she decided to move out after helping her parents for years. Her home, now under stable condition, she left to go to the famous city of Seoul, Korea. She went to finish her high school years and went to college but eventually dropped out due to lack of funds. She then went onto the internet, discovered that she could easily make money through her art and so she set it up herself, now making around 100,000 won per week. Being as surprisingly success as she was, the now 25 year old found herself often helping young people around her age with mental health and sometimes physical, suggesting doctors and just giving very helpful advice. She found herself saving young lives and she was happy, so she considered becoming a psychiatrist for Seoul, Korea. Criminal record: She does not have a criminal record, at all. Oath: By applying for EMS, you pledge to prescribe only beneficial treatments according to your best ability and judgement, to refrain from causing harm or hurt, and to live an exemplary personal and professional life.
