Gotta love some character development and backstories that continue on until said character died.

IGN(In Game Name): MomRP What Language are you applying for?: KSL [Korean Sign Language] How did your character learn the language? (100+ Characters): Min Yang was born in Ueno, Tokyo. During childhood, she had a rough time in school learning Japanese due to her mother being Korean, she tried to learn both languages at the same time, with the added of learning JSL throughout her school years as her ‘2nd’ language, this carries out until she graduated and went into college within Korea, Jeju National University, which was in Jeju City, South Korea. When getting classes, she decided to go with different classes which insisted of her going to go with different majors with many minors for graduating with flying colors and different things she can work for, even if it is overworking herself which was: Culinary arts,Science-Culinary Arts, and Business with many minors in general. When she got into the dormitories for her first semester, one of her roommates was deaf as the other was mute. In general they communicated in different ways as in Text-To-Speech, texting her, and communicating by writing on paper. Min thought it slowly got annoying to the point she began to try to open to new ideas, considering she ran into the two doing Sign Language with each other, she jumped in wanting to learn the language, Korean Sign Language. This was because she wanted to be able to not be left out and communicate with them faster, mostly diligently. Her roommates were more than happy to teach her this in an ecstatic way, they helped her by giving her credible websites that are correct signing, books, and even themselves for conversations to practice, even suggesting them to be somewhat tutors for Min while signing. Even though it took her a while, she slowly got the hang of it after the first year practicing straight, luckily she was roomed with her roommates as she kept practicing until she graduated, she knows that it may not be helpful for the mostly public but she tried her best to keep up with KSL and try to once a while travel to her old roommates place, now close friends and have a straight up conversation with them in KSL, she is happy that she learned this language and try to learn about the deaf community a lot more frequently than normally she started which was a big move on being more thoughtful of other people’s languages, being open to the idea of learning new possible languages that she wants to keep knowing. How does this benefit your character's roleplay?: From what I can tell, KSL wasn’t applied for yet though I feel like it would benefit role-playing for the deaf community that may happen within interactions, in every region of place like Japan, there will always be some sort of Sign Language that they are accustomed to, I feel like it would benefit for my character being able to communicate with everyone else as she is someone who tries to learn languages to be mostly conversate with others with her determination, this will also benefit her within her backstory that is slowly developing over time in general, and gives my character more of a more solid ground of my ideas on how she can develop within the future interactions she may get. Though, it also will benefit her of learning a new language while being in Seoul, she’s someone who tries to get in the community and cultures of the said language to try and understand the history of the language to better understand the people who use the language(s).

OOC Information IGN: MomRP Discord Tag: Satan#4979 Time zone: EST Server Activity: I used to be very active but due to personal reasons, I have been off discord and roleplay servers in general but over time, I slowly reached out to discord servers and Minecraft servers slowly but surely which ended me up to be somewhat more active, just not to the point I'd be on for 6 hours a day. Follow me decrease or increase depending on the day I try to frequently check on the active forms along with the discord even though it might not show that I do, I often try to look and see if there's any type of news or added or will be morally out there for me to read and to get more hooked on within the server. Previous warns/bans:N/A Business Information Business Name: Kifune Café Though, this business name may seem odd, it was inspired Kitsunes, mainly the kitsune mask challenge where the waitress wears a mask and serves the customer with the customers being involved by removing their mask as they serve them while playing around with the customers, though the theme of this café may be somewhat clearly different instead of that type of business it was inspired by. There may be future hints for this being an event with the workers and customers one day, though there is a lot to work with for this in the future so it'll be staying as a "cosplay" café Business type (Restaurant/accessory/etc.): Restaurant/Café, it's in between as I am not sure on where to put Japanese type of businesses, mainly cafes out there that also sells meals along with light alcohol, though the branding may say "Café" due to the sort feeling of most maid cafés. Though, over time it may be seen as a cosplay café by how many of my event ideas may come to light in the future, hopefully being a hot spot for players to come to. Though, over time it may become different within different perspectives or ideas I have in mind, but I'll try to keep it in a Restaurant/Café setting. There'll be opportunities where I'll sell the café's future accessories for own uses for simple events like small crowns made out of plastic for certain events, or special limited items you can buy in a season/event that only happens once a while. Motivation on why you wanted to apply: My inspiration is to let people have a chance to interact with other people as in workers and customers as ShopRP is easily seen as a business, which it is but it doesn't have the aspect of interacting with other people other than the co-workers. I mainly one players to interact with each other along with having the possibility of coming back and see that ShopRPing in general isn't just for financial meanings and sales is also for different interactions along with bonding with the customers that may come on a repetition. This will also give me the possible point of view of the shopkeeper and how they do their work behind the scenes as I know a standard of what shopkeeper due to having friends who are shopkeepers on different servers in the past, I want to mainly learn how to balance stock along with knowing how much money I need to for the next shipment of possible stock, along with how many times I may have to open and let the stock run out just for that to happen. Though most of my ideas and thoughts on to apply mainly is wanting players to have an active spot to hang around in and feel somewhat safe, rather it be in character or out of character and to keep the server as active as I can while opening a shop out to the public, though my ideas may seem somewhat impossible to open most of the time for players to chill and conversant to, I’ll try my best to do it regardless because for most Minecraft servers, it's hard to find a shop to chill and talk in, mostly getting interactions as the focus on money rather than players being able to get a roleplay experience when said server is mostly on roleplaying, even. My other inspiration is to have events happening often, so people can be active and start to get hooked into it, so much so I'll be willing to work with Event Team for any events, mainly mini ones of small dances, karaoke, fires, or natural disaster types of events. Though, at times I may say my inspiration is to see other players roleplaying instead of paying for what the need or want within the shop and desires of just spending money when there can be so much more opportunities and other interactions people may have with the workers that is off shift to keep the drive of socializing with other players. Unique description about your business: Kifune is a lovely place to eat that is tilted as a "Café", there are many events with the customers that include dressing up, acting, along with serving said customers. Kifune will have a beforehand of workers volunteering to be whatever role they prefer depending on the event day/week along with the possible acting into play. It is basically a cosplay-café type of deal except it's more of the worker's job to entertain and serve with special occasion events where the customers also get to play along. Most of the openings of this business will be having most interactive ones with different types of customers, along with the workers to get some sort of friendly atmosphere to give with other people and for themselves, this may open open window for mostly cosplayers or people who like to dress up on occasions and want to do it more often. Though this does not discreet away from people who may be in the lgbtq+ group and want to have an area where they can feel safe to express themselves. Other businesses may change for more broader of customers to come through the doors. We will mainly do surveys to see what we could change on and add on into different agendas that other people would enjoy and would want to anticipate in this is also to have critique criticism of how our workers act, along with how did behaviors may be out of work and to keep in mind and have a tab on them so that they're outside life won't consider to be in their work life and affect the customers in any way. References (Interior & Exterior): My interior may change a lot for seasons or store events! Though, I am open to any change within the exterior for any type of server wide events that the event team or staff would like to do in general. Interior may change with different seasons as in more cozy and warm for autumn and winter, more ‘cooler’ colors or open windows if there is any for summer, and more flowers or spring like decorations for spring, this also adds in different ideas of traditional holidays, however it won't change that frequently as if it has no set in stone aesthetic for others to get used to. Exterior: Interior: What is your business selling: Cutesy foods, sweets, and drinks, with light liquor such as Whiskey or Beer. The menu is mostly inspired by Akihabara Maid Café in Japan, other than that, the possibilities of cute animal cookies, desserts, meals, and more to add on in the future with bows or small “Kifune Merch” people can buy. This will give people a opportunity to have different diverse items that may be possible if given freely I'll buy it myself and hopefully get a community of people who will come back and buy again, fell at times I will once in a while give out a survey to see what the customers would want in general this may be different types of things of food or occasion events that they want to see that the restaurant or Café to operate. Though they might be a few more liquors in general the alcohol will be very subtle and not enough to get you too drunk within the café as there may be rules against public drinking, probably the fruity drinks people buy but know they shouldn't that would be suited to the design to the café eventually, rather it be a logo of the company, or something that resembles it. There'd be mostly Japanese influenced foods, desserts, along with drinks but later on it'll end up being somewhat into Korean cultures with a few aspects of food and drinks with events or clearly setting the mood within the café. How many employees will you be recruiting: I believe around 10 to 12 workers overall, including Co-Owner and Owner. In the future I might have less employees or more employees depending on the player base within the server though I will help fully have a group of people that are willing to work whenever I'm opening or I can work alone during said openings if it is needed and there's enough of me to go around with different customers because time zones are probably could be an issue in the near future, along with availability of other employees in the future. but I have a roster to summarize it like this. ↓ Backstory: [Store] After she got her own degrees in business along with other things like culinary arts she finally got the opportunity to work on herself and possibly the shop she would open in the near future, she clocked in the money she needed for the shop and started to go for it. She wanted her father's idea to come into the light and make him proud of her if he was watching her, although she wants to start a business, she also wants to hire employees and make them feel close as if she were family to them. She wants to make a change within people who can have some sort of family if they don't have one themselves and have opportunity of getting a living off of what they work as, hopefully if I do time her business will start to boom up with popularity as she can pay her workers the paychecks that they deserve and not rip them off of below minimum wage, this is because she got ripped off herself due to how poorly she thought of things and how she naïve she may have been due to her age. Later on within life, Min found out that she wanted to do some sort of acting yet serving other customers in a cute way as she feels like being bland with a boring attitude can make customers feel somewhat unwary about the waiter/waitress, she found out that people enjoyed her joy-chirpy tone than a person who sounded annoyed with their day. She slowly kept this into mind as she began her graduation within college as she kept this small thing going on which led her to many ideas to entertain the customers and make them come for more, this inspired her to get into fashion, designing cute yet trendy clothing to keep her future ideas original, a way for her to keep going and going with new ideas with the modern intake with it. This was a way for her to seek out opportunities for something more, to see a way to appeal to others while doing the thing she always wanted to do. To make others feel happy, comfortable, along with the content of coming back. [Shopkeeper] Yuko Daiju who now goes by Min Yang was born in Ueno, Tokyo. Ueno is mostly known for the homeless population being out at night. Which was a result of her parents living there due to other complications and getting the financial needs they need to restart their business and scratch. Her father was a businessman, but went bankrupt when a coworker stole the money and blamed it on him for the thousands of dollars that was in the business's bank account. It was the cause of her moving to a horrible area, but she slowly adapted to it for the sad part, she always wanted a normal childhood was she slightly got both sides circumstances where she has phobias in certain areas due to the environment she lived in. Her mother always have end up dragging her daughter away from people, as she always attempts to help others which always ends up where she is getting taken advantage of due to her naïve self. Her father and the other hand was a very helpful man who tries to help others, regardless of their situation and the possibility of being robbed at the end of the day, she got her characteristic from him mainly with the caring part with other people who may not be financially there or not at your level. Sadly when she got older her father passed away due to the doctor not being able to revive them in time, as they have in the past rejected him getting any medical treatment as they claimed "He was healthy enough" to the point where overtime in the hospital, he died from heart issues that they failed to look at which made Min somewhat upset with the hospital, resenting to go even if she needed to go in a serious situation. When she moved to Seoul, Korea when she had enough money she realized that she has more opportunities to bring up the business her father have had the idea of for many of these years. She was very inspired by Japanese cultured type of cafes of Korean have mainly barbecues along with small coffee shops and thought her shop would possibly be recognized and pop out from the norms. Along with that, she changed her name to her mother's maiden name along with the Korean name so she would fit in so people won't struggle to say her technical birth name. This is mainly to blend in if there's any type of hospital staff that may recognize her as she has a phobia of surgeons and doctors that dealt with her father. IGN(In Game Name): Miudeath What Language are you applying for?: Italian and French How did your character learn the language? (100+ Characters): Edith Tsunawaki was born in Lyon, France, and learned French and became fluent in that language during her long childhood period while living there for most of her life. She wanted to remember the language she first learned and become more knowledgeable with different vocabulary senses. Hence, she started writing her flashcards to learn more about the language and got a private tutor to help her out, using flashcards and powerpoints while she was with that tutor. It originally was difficult for her to learn the language's many vocabs as she never used it during her daily life while in school nor at home, but she finally got it after a couple of years. She was challenged a bit by learning it because she kept pronouncing the words wrong, and the tutor almost gave up, until one day she finally got it, and she can now speak it somewhat fluently. Whenever she wants to have a lesson to make sure she's not rusty, she would have it all down in notes if she wants to study her language. Also, to have a break from the overall real world to focus on her mother language. Later on in life, around her teens, she was interested in Italy and its culture; she wanted it for the overall knowledge of a particular culture that she was determined to get a grasp of. She began to learn Italian for two years with the help of a mentor/tutor who knew Italian and by other sources such as books, poems, and music surrounding the language and culture. It was mainly to practice easy conversations initially and surround herself with friends who knew the language. Due to her friends also knowing this language, she'd be interested to understand what they're saying, mainly having conversations with them. To help her learn Italian throughout the years, she bought and borrowed one of those "teaching yourself Italian" textbooks to get a rough understanding of how the language works. She Immersed herself in the language! By joining Italian language meet-ups with her friends and trying to hold a basic conversation with them to the best of her abilities. How does this benefit your character's roleplay?: This benefits my character's roleplay because it fits her past well, and her family knows French. She also constantly grew up speaking the language; later on, she'd get into Italian because she was interested in the culture and wanted to learn this language early in life. This would also help within the roleplay. It would explain how she knows these languages due to Edith keeping tabs on both languages during her free time or whenever she feels like she forgets the correct words to say during its context.

She had dark freckles all over her face, along with her body and hands. She'd have heterochromia eyes. Her left eye would be blue, as her right eye would be a pigment of green. Her hair would be pretty odd-shaped as the front would have longer hair as the back would be shorter. She'd have a slight smile that would feel unsure of her surroundings. She'd have scars on her hands along with her legs as if it seemed like scratches of sorts, many old and pretty recent ones. She'd have a mesomorphic body with a faded tattoo on her right shoulder. Edith Tsunawaki was born in Lyon, France, and lived near the canal. She lived on the second story of an apartment building most of her life. They lived in the middle-class, which was enough to have a stable life; struggling at times, mainly with medical bills, keeping up with Edith's dancing/skating, and expecting expenses from the classes she took. She was born and raised in a Eurasian family. Her mother was French as her father was Japanese; while growing up, it was difficult for her to pronounce things as she usually mixed up French and Japanese words, often mispronouncing them. She was commonly made fun of for this; sadly, kids would pick at what she said and bully her over saying simple words wrong or with an odd accent when going to school. During school and her childhood living there, it was subpar besides being made fun of because of her difficulty learning the languages fluently. She also had a decent friend group, even though it was pernicious when it got chaotic with petty drama. Sometimes, her friends would talk about each other behind their backs. Years later, She obliterated someone's life by accident during the need to stand up for herself. She didn't know how it would affect that person's life throughout their days, as she was doing something correctly for herself, which would only lead to her selfishness. The person was ruining her life by spreading rumors, tiny snippets of her life and how horrible it is, putting her apartment address around the hallways, and even telling lies about her. It was to the point where Edith had second doubts about the friends she made, as no one else knew besides her friends. They have been targeting her for countless months and got to the point where Edith just wanted to drop out, to start fresh. As a result of all of this and her pointing her finger at people blindly, everybody neglected her except a couple of friends. She had to survive in a turbulent world; she started a new life and battled the elements with only her ingenuity and wisdom. When she had reached high school, She often did ice skating and dancing as she did with a passion, more than ever, as it was the only sort of happiness she had, an ounce of joy in her life. By the age of 14, she lost her mother to lung cancer because her mother had been a big smoker during Edith's childhood. Her father ended up becoming an alcoholic due to the stress caused by the loss of his wife, where his daughter is now, as well as the lack of income, the costs for every competition, dance lesson, and her medication. It got to the point where her neighbors called cops many times from how violent the father would get from drinking. They had made a report against the father and started a case against this. CPS discovered the poor living conditions she was living in due to her father's alcoholism. Edith's father was imprisoned for child endangerment and neglect, and she was then placed in the care of her aunt. The living conditions with her aunt were better; it wasn't perfect; however, it was better than the one she was living in. This time, she had moved into a better area and was raised with her cousins at the time. Luckily, she attended a new school and had a new life. Though she felt she was missing something deep down. It was as if she was missing part of her family, mainly her father. She knows that he is currently in the wrong place and needs help from his alcoholism. She wished him well but often visited him to see how better he got from drinking as much alcohol as he used to; sadly, her aunt would restrict visiting her father. She would have to sneak out often to see her father monthly. It can't be every weekend, or the aunt would find out her frequent sneak-outs to visit the father. When she turned 18, she instantly moved out of her aunt's house and moved in with one of her friends; it was hard for her to get the share of the rent. This was because she struggled with little to no money and had four part-time jobs to fill in; sadly, during this time, people didn't pay her much due to the appearance she had and many complaints they had with her, mainly with how odd she looked. It was because people would often not come because of her physical appearance. She found out that most of her co-workers get paid more. She still worked hard as she wanted to get still the rent money that she promised to her friend to reach every month. She also had to buy many things like food, clothes, and personal hygiene products. It got so bad to the point where customers would personally attack her about her appearance in subtle, passive-aggressive ways to say things. She was often used to these remarks due to her being grown in that type of toxicity, but she soon realized that her jobs were not worth it. She should probably try and get a better job, mainly with four part-time jobs, and that she can try and do better, and she didn't need to be in that horrible point of place she was at currently. Overall, she realized that France wasn't for her; she realized she could have just moved with the money she had saved up when she had those four part-time jobs. She could have a new life and a new area that would hopefully treat her better than during her hometown and where she lived with her friend. She started to look up other sites where she could stay where it wouldn't be too harsh on her and affordable, somewhere she could probably get citizenship. She found a lovely place in the seal, and she always wanted to learn the language Korean, mainly because she wanted to fit in another area where she didn't need to use French as much. Of course, she would have to be around fellow family members, and other people may know it. Still, the language has put her into a slight hush that she didn't want other people to know she was French mainly because of her physical appearance and the horrible history it gave her. At the age of 29, she moved to Goyang-si, South Korea. She wanted to have a feel of the citizens and the language at the time. It was so she could get many years to learn Korean and understand the many personalities people may have so she can act accordingly to those specific people with the possible emotional sensitivity they'll have. Overall she has struggled most of her time reaching the point of being associated with the language and can express at least a few sentences without breaking into another language. Even though she has been staying there for a while had learned the language within two, almost three years. It may be considered slow as a person like her who knows multiple languages should take as they are known to learn other languages faster than a beginner trying to learn another language. On the way to her success, she has been using many ways to study. Such long conversations and just carrying with her friends in the room to focus on certain words and phrases she must say understand how to pronounce as they may be necessary for things as in the family titles, how to greet people and say goodbye. She got better within the later years to understand her but in broken Korean sentences. Although she may need a translator for a more extended conversation, she got the hang of it during her late fifth year learning the language; even though she mostly mastered it, she still struggles to say certain words and phrases in Korean. By the age of 32, she had moved to seal as you want to start another new life even though she does have care and friends she will promise to visit them as it's not that far, she wanted to have her own life after mastering the language and not in the struggling sense. Even though she does say words in different languages sometimes by accident, she understands that she's not perfect she's just human and should be one, not some robot that automatically has an answer for everything or a person with no flaws.

She had some Selective Mutism; it's a severe anxiety disorder where a person cannot speak in certain social situations. Selective Mutism is a complex childhood anxiety disorder characterized by a child's inability to speak and communicate effectively in select social settings, such as school. These children can speak and communicate in environments where they are comfortable, secure, and relaxed. She expressed a desire to say that she is held back by anxiousness, fear, and embarrassment, which was a sign in her early life. When she got older, enough to speak, her family took her to the hospital in worry due to her speaking on most occasions, just not out in public or crowds of people. However, she wasn't diagnosed as they thought fidgeting, eye contact avoidance, lack of movement, or lack of expression in feared situations was a summary of some 'shy' phases. It was left untreated for most of her childhood which caused it to worsen anxiety and social difficulty when it wasn't addressed during her childhood to get the therapy and help she needed. Her family moved to Osaka, Japan, due to business and money reasons, along with the fact that some family members had lived there and would be able to assist them with housing for a short amount of time when settling in a new place. She collectively learned the new language and got into Japanese at the time so she'd be able to speak to people during scary situations or complicated situations. She cannot speak for the whole day due to early life trauma, which will cause her not to speak or her inability to communicate clearly with other people vocally. Upon moving to several new schools, she went to therapy and got help to treat the Selective Mutism she was diagnosed with; she often checked in with her family members. She had many sessions with her psychiatrist and was put on other medications. She then slowly focused more on her family due to their health complications and their mental health going downhill. Later on, within the years, she went back to medication to get better than she was already feeling and got assigned to a new medication that wasn't so strong for her. She'd need it more from the lack of discussions she couldn't engage with. At the time, she was trying to train herself through ballet during her high school years to make herself able to get The Bachelor of Fine Arts (B.F.A.) with a major in Dance provides a professional degree program for students with prior Dance. Sadly, she had many foot and ankle injuries within years of practicing and going on stage. It had gotten to the point where she got severe damage during one of her on-stage performances, and it was her breaking her leg while damaging her feet. It got to the point of not performing into the career she originally wanted to go through and had to quit due to the costs of the dance classes and her medical expenses. Miyoko realized how much nurses and hospital workers had done for citizens and realized what she is interested in, to help others at their worst like she was when she was in her despair. Instead, this time she'll carefully help others, so when she graduated high school, she decided to get Majors and Minors within nursing schools, searching possible hospitals that need nurses. Along with studying to become a nurse herself, she volunteers to help around the hospital, mainly with the children section. When she graduated, she moved to Seoul. She found out they had an opening for Hospital workers within the department Miyoko wanted to be in; she had learned Korean in advance, so she understood the citizens of South Korea and her coworkers mainly. Even though she may not fit their beauty standards, either way, she will stand her ground to help other people, primarily younger groups of citizens who may go through a life-changing movement as she did. It can come off as a horrible thing they may see in their point of view of the best type of change they have been waiting for all of their lives; she mainly wants others to see the positives of things and change what they want to be initially. To something they may enjoy overall more, she wants to be a positive role model for others who may be struggling in life, money-wise, or mentally wise where they can't get the grasps of their thoughts onto one thing overall. Miyoko herself knows where they may be coming from as she had to quit due to the expenses of everything at the time and had to go for something more realistic to do overall if she put her thoughts into it. She wanted to do something to help others instead of herself and her own selfish needs. IGN: MiuLols What Language are you applying for?: Russian How did your character know the language?:Miyoko Imahori's father was born and raised in Moscow, Russia, and thus has a native tongue to the language. He was moving to Japan with his wife. He had changed his last name to his wife's then the two raised their children in a bilingual household, speaking Japanese and Russian. As a result, Miyoko grew up learning how to talk to Russian through her father, with the primary purpose of communicating with family members on her father's side of the family. She had spoken primarily Russian at home since, in most instances, she would talk to Japanese outside of the house. Her dad taught her the most over the years since it is native to him, with her mother being second. She became better at speaking Russian as she grew up through nonstop social situations and learned it at the same rate and means of learning Japanese. Aside from using it at home, she would also have to constantly use Russian when she and her parents flew to visit family in Russia. Miyoko could speak conversationally for a while but then became utterly fluent as time passed, and she eventually came to learn more complicated and descriptive words in the language. Upon moving over to Seoul, she had forgotten how to speak Japanese within staying in Korea overall and focused more upon Russian and learning Korean as she still had family members around the town, along with that she wanted to keep one; luckily, she was able to pick up Korean quickly as she was in a bilingual household and had an open mindset to learn another language reasonably quickly. She wanted to keep extending her father's native tongue to the later generations. So overall, she kept tabs on learning Russian with more extensive vocabulary every month so she wouldn't forget specific phrases and words that may become necessary within her daily life. She mainly wanted to talk to other family members or other people who may speak Russian within Seoul. How will this benefit your character's roleplay?:This will benefit my character's roleplay because her father's side of the family cannonly originated from Russia overall, and it would make sense why she'd know it overall. This is so others wouldn't eavesdrop in the conversation that they should have no business in the first place or control the manner more personally due to how secretive she is and doesn't enjoy when others know things they shouldn't.

IGN: DominoEffectzz Age(Not required, but preferred) : 18 Why do you want to join the Teacher Team? : My first motivation for becoming a Teacher is to do a different type of roleplay instead of the usual GangRP/CasualRP and other RP types that may be boring due to the lack of interactions I get from them. Secondly is to educate students, to prepare them for a better future. I find GangRP boring due to my new interests, and I would like to do something else; maybe something new that doesn't involve a lot of fighting. I would love to engage in different kinds of roleplay that is more of an educator's view of things during school hours. Being a professor seems fun yet challenging depending on the situations one may come across, and I am always up for a challenge. I have been a Professor and Psychiatrist before but on SRP.
