  1. Guidelines: As an EMS of Seoul, you may not GangRP if accepted. Plagiarized applications will be instantly denied. All questions must be bolded. Detailed answers may increase your acceptance rate. You must have basic knowledge of the server’s commands. If you wish to be a part of the Hospital Faction, you must be a part of the Government Server [Government Discord Server], and the Server rules [Server Rules]. Made by: @fourbros and @alicethingy OOC INFORMATION: IGN: NocteBee Age: 20 Timezone: EST If you have discord, what is your tag? MISA!#7399 Do you have a working microphone? Yes Any bans/warnings? I do not have any bans or warnings within Seoul RP. List any past/current applications. https://seoulrp.com/topic/976-adult-application-try-2-noctebee/ What is your motivation for joining EMS? I have decided upon all things to join EMS, due to the factor of real-life experience and the RP I have experienced as Akari/Misako. I believe personally everyone deserves fair and well treatment, especially from the mental health system in Seoul and just general medicine. Granted it is something out of my comfort zone, but it's good to do that sometimes, especially for those who want to see if it's a fit. Honestly, for those reading this just helping people is a general motivation for me. State the role you are applying for [Nurse, Doctor, Surgeon, Paramedic, Psychiatrist] Psychiatrist List all the departments of EMS and what they do. [Surgeon]- Surgeons are specialized physicians who evaluate and treat conditions that require surgical intervention. They go through very heavy and study head training to treat patients effectively and with care in a small time frame. Before/During/After surgery, the head surgeon of the group will decide what best course of care is best beneficial for their patient this is not limited to but can include prescribing pain medication or other medications along with follow-ups. [Nurse]- Nurses are an essential role in the hospital as they are medical professionals as well and conduct physical exams and administer medication VIA the doctor's approval or prescription along with assisting surgeons if they choose to be surgical RN. Most RNs treat minor injuries such as ankle/wrist/knee sprains, minor gashes and scrapes, and much more, they are required to stay behind the front desk and monitor patient logs as patients enter and leave the hospital. [Doctor]- Doctors are trained medical professionals that conduct medical exams, diagnosed illnesses/injuries, and treat them accordingly. [Paramedic]- Paramedics are medical professionals that are the backbone of hospital emergency patients. They specialized in providing field care to critical and emergent patients, treating them on-site, or transporting them to the hospital via ambulance. In a severe trauma event such as multiple casualties, they will be the first people on the scene as they are responsible for stabilizing the patients until they can be further assessed to see if they deem further treatment. [Psychiatrist]- These are medical professionals who specialize in the diagnosis, treatment whether it be medication or multiple therapy sessions, and prevention of mental/emotional/and behavioral disorders and illnesses. These medical professionals are not skilled enough like a doctor, paramedic, nurse or surgeon would be in treating major wounds. They would only be able to treat small gashes, scrapes, or sprained ankles. How active are you? How familiar are you with Detail/Medical RP? I currently am In college, so my activity went from 9.5 to like 8. But I'm very active late at night and on weekends when I'm not out and about. I'm quite familiar with Detail/medical RP and have no problem responding to the person in the session or asking about medical advice at the hospital in detail if need be, in fact, I actually like typing (Surprising I know right?) Do you acknowledge that at any point you can be demoted or removed if given a valid reason? [Ex: Guidelines, Skipping Trainings, etc.) Signature: NocteBee IN-CHARACTER SECTION: PART 1: Character Apprehension: Tell us about your character; how do they look, and what makes them unique? Yoa-shio is a 5'6" petite-looking female, who has beautiful clear skin and crystal blue eyes, and beautiful soft blonde hair. Along her hand up to her shoulder was a family vine tattoo, that she had gotten with the memorial date and name of 'Leoard Li Yōko 2-16-2000' with a little baby and halo wrapped into it. She donned a pair of very round and outstanding silver glasses with a chain that had pendants of small roses hanging from the top of the glasses, she also wore a fluffed cotton blouse with a beautiful pastel color and small floral designs in the printed color. She wore dress pants, that were dark maroon to match the fluffy cotton naval blouse, and her overcoat aka her doctor coat had her badge on her left side that had pediatric stickers and a beautiful aesthetic brain badge reel upon looking at her badge it stated 'Dr. Yoa-shio Yōko, Psychiatrist'. She has a very soft and welcoming voice, as she was a very understanding individual working with people as much as she could. Explain your character’s outlook on co-workers, personality, and future life. Yao isn't the type to typically judge, but she also doesn't do the whole first impression thing as it's not really how she values others instead she views how they act in social situations and how they generally appear. That way she can manage to avoid those outside of work who causes issues, and those who are friendly and content in their life, she has a tendency to avoid co-workers unless they are friends and to avoid her patients besides a simple 'Hello' outside of the hospital if she is off-duty. Yao typically has a very outgoing personality which fits her best as a psychiatrist but she also has ADHD which makes her tendency to be a very good listener more adequate and professional inside the workplace, outside though it is like meeting a whole different person also she enjoys very bright colors and patterns trying to make therapy more calming and allow the client to enjoy speaking to her. Yao at her old workplace had yoga balls, fidget toys, different seating, pillows, and pamphlets in a little cute container along with many welcoming decorations and differential light items in the room so if they wanted it to be dim it was allowed if not she would make sure it was bright. Yao doesn't really plan her future out as some might do, she lets nature take its course and puts it as 'Whatever happens, happens' Does this character have a criminal past? No, she does not! (Surprisingly) Background:[Minimum 100 words] Yao was born on March 7th, 1997 in the Seocho-Gu District of Seoul, South Korea to parents Lemani Yōko (mother) and Os-un Yōko (father)in SNUH hospital at their maternity unit Yoa was born with beautiful crystal blue eyes and soft blonde hair, as she was a prenatal baby she was rushed to the PICU at only hours old her parents were told she was a miracle baby. Growing up in Seoul was always an adventure for Yoa grew up in the household of both her parents being primarily raised by her mother as her father was a very important person at the hospital from what she knew, at the age of 5 yoa was enrolled in a primary school where she began her education through the ups and downs and rough turns she eventually made it to middle school where this peaked her interests of medical knowledge. She took up learning from her father at work where she could, as nothing seemed to disgust her or put her out of the idea of helping others as an older child was frustrating as she found helping those in a need as an outlet for frustrations she couldn't process at the moment. At the age of 14, Yao’s father had a stroke which left him with permanent left-side weakness and it left her devastated and traumatized as she couldn't come to terms with this new reality. Continuing on through high school, she took up a psychology class and watched psychiatrists come in throughout the school day sometimes for introducing themselves to the class and that's where a small part of her brain lit up as she was excited. After graduating from high school with honors at the top of her class, Yao went on to college to get her associate's in science, and continuing her education at the age of 21 Yoa achieved her first bachelor's degree which was in forensic psychology. She did not care about dating or children or marriage at the time and never thought about it in the future as it was a fear to leave her children orphaned if something ever happened to her. Around the age of 23, Os-un passed his sleep from the post-effects stroke, it left Yao devastated and unsure of words or how to react, even then hours later Lemani passed due to natural causes from what the physicians told her. This left Yao in a dark spot but she kept pressuring herself to proceed as she needed to prove that she could do it, even with her parents gone a year tends to pass and she is eventually able to overcome her parent's death. So she proceeded to get a grip on her family once again to make contact but was told not even a week later after regaining contact that her brother (Kishun Oliver Yōko) and his second wife (Tuan Tachi-Yōko) and his first wife (Kelli Itoa Jeong-Yōko) were shot and killed during a gang-related activity. They left her 3 nieces and two nephews behind to care for their ages ranging from 11 to 7, Akari Itoa Yoko, Sephtis Yoko, and Anita Yoko were her three nieces, and the two nephews Naoki and Yago to this day are currently in unknown whereabouts. At the age of 25 Yoa went on a volunteer mission as she was currently working as a high school counselor when she had time during breaks like winter break for the residency program, leaving the children with their babysitter she had hired during busy scheduled weeks, she left the week after the children went on their break to Guryong village still as a psychiatrist resident and made improvements in those who needed psychiatric help or someone to speak to. Granted it was long hours and hot and disgusting due to its poor region, but Yoa made the best of it, especially for her co-workers who she adored, and her patients old and young. At the age of 26 during residency, raising children, volunteering, and many other busy schedule days she had successfully gotten 4 bachelor's degrees, and her Ph.D. was completed. A year exactly after this Yoa graduated from residency and immediately went to work as a psychiatrist with no hesitation passing her boards with a breeze and no difficulty which lead her to present where she is now, with an invitation to the current hospital in the new district she had moved to the week after passing residency as she had now been waiting for the acceptance from the invitation letter she had been sent by the hospital board staff. The lettering had been faded so unless you looked close it was difficult to see, Yoa was farsighted and was diagnosed very recently as she had an outstanding pair of silver glasses to compliment her face's brightness. She normally wore looks to seem classy and professional at all times, she most of the time wore a baby blue cashmere sweater with khaki dress pants and 4' black heels to compliment the look and give her height her voice and presence were always so welcoming and loving to those who needed it.
