  1. Language Application Format IGN(In Game Name): ZackTimeKiller What Language are you applying for?: Russian How did your character learn the language? (100+ Characters): Svyatoslav Tsitnikov is born, and raised somewhere in Russia for most of his years, Svyatoslav has adopted, and adapted through his mother tongue through consistent exposure with his family being able to speak Russian fluently, and going through the local school in his area that helped him properly grasps the language better. Although, for the most part he's a visual learner, and has always relied on watching television that helped him learn Russian through children's shows, nursery rhymes and the like. And, his parents were there to correct him through grammar, pronunciation, phrases and so forth. He later became fluent in the language especially after spending the majority of his life in Russia. Despite being a native speaker, he grew a habit of mixing up words and phrases, and still do to this day. How does this benefit your character's roleplay?: My character; Svyatoslav Tsitnikov does not fluently speak the local language of Himera, his vocabularly regarding that language is albeit short, and simple, although it would be nice to enhance his authenticity more with his difference in culture, and add more enrichness and depth to his Russian background, by being able to have access to this language in-game; and be able to communicate in a language he is more fluent in with other Russian-speaking character. Making a stark difference in demeanor whenever he speaks Russian; a language he is much more familiar in, and in the local language of Himera; he is less familiar with.

  2. OOC section: IGN: ZackTimeKiller Discord [ex. Habilitation]: zacktimekiller Time zone: GMT+8 Any previous bans/warns? None. Describe your current level of activity on the server: During the time of this application the server is not currently up in which I cannot provide or perform any activity within the server however, I plan on being active and putting my utmost efforts and investing my time within Himera Police Department and the Himera Roleplay community as a whole. Do you have access to a microphone? Yes, I currently possess a microphone however I am not always inclined to use it due to my very loud or obnoxious background - with family often yelling within the premises of my desk area added to the fact that I have a medical condition that can heavily affect my throat without prior warning that can often happen every now and then. Although, given the situation, I only resort to using my microphone whenever it is deemed a necessity unless I am truly unable to due to these mentioned conditions. Do you have any previous experience with police work? Yes, I do, I was a former member of the Karakura Police Department within the School RP community for a relatively short period of time spanning roughly around three months in proximity a few months back. During that time period, however, I can safely say that I had a basic understanding with decent experience in procedures, paired with flexible knowledge that may come in handy when becoming a part of the Himera Police Department. Do you have any experience with CombatRP? Yes, although I am not quite familiar with the combat rules provided by Himera, I am obliged to learn further, and get myself more aware as well as comfortable of the system, and how it functions or differs from what I am more accustomed to. My experience in CombatRP as a whole varies, yes, having previous experience of police work contributes to that, although, I have been dwelling more so in the criminal, and gang roleplay side that I am more confident to believe that I contain just enough, and well-versed in this sub-category of roleplay. Although, unlike most known criminal and gang roleplayers out there, my preference leans more towards P2L, as I am a man who thrives for detail rather than basic one, or two-three words, especially in roleplay situations where the scenery is much more complex and adds more to the development of a character as well as their lore. Although, in a situation such as being a police officer as a whole, roll-based combat rp, as well as short responses are to be expected especially in rowdy or crowded situations, and I don’t quite have gripes with it. And, yes I do have experience in this particular type of roleplay as well. What motivates you to apply for HPD? My main motivation stems in the idea of a fresh experience in a new server, with foreign mechanics, and differing systems, I'd like to have a new start on something, and take a break with other communities. I believe Himera Police Department can give me the experience that I crave, in addition of wanting to go back and try policing once again in a different community. As well as joining forces with my friends within this faction, as I've noticed that they are here as well, and one in particular is welcoming me in open arms, which is why I thrive to be active, and hopefully be able to contribute with my past experiences and knowledge. In addition, I really like the character concept, and personality I made for this application, so I am more than thrilled in hopes of developing them within the HPD, and hopefully have fun, and great memories through character intereactions. IC information: Character name: “Ah, prepare.. My name is Svyatoslav Tsitnikov. Tricky to say, yes? However, in-short for non-Russian speakers, it is easier to call me by my nickname; Bigby, much easier, no? Bigby.. Biggy big, bee?” Character age: “I’m ‘bout thirty-six years old.” [!] He held up four fingers with the index finger bent down, while the other hand held all five as if to resemble the number 3-6. [!] Nationality: “I am from Russia, born and raised.” [!] Did he.. Hummed the Russian anthem? [!] “Russia our holy nation..” Preferred pronouns: “I look like a man.. Am I a man?” [!] He took a long pause, as if he was in the depths of his thoughts, re-considering his life. [!] “Why must you complicate things?” What motivates your character to join the force? Svyatoslav Tsitnikov possessed a relatively enriched background in the special operations officer; Spetsnaz in Russia. He served in the military for over 17 years now. He just recently left Russia, and went to follow his brother in Himera, he's a bit confused, but he has the spirit. He didn't want to work for any other job that does bring the similar thrill the military has for him, and he'd still want to help those that are in need with what he knows; which is why the police department seems to be a great choice for him compared to other options. He didn't want to bring his experience to a waste, and he'd still want to be in the front-lines, military or not, the police department is a place where he can see himself thrive. Alongside working besides his brother excited that idea, as all younger brothers want to pester their older ones when brought an opportunity to. Is your character familiar with self-defense? “Self-defense? Of course I know self-defense, who joins the force without knowing self-defense..?" [!] He sounded more concerned rather than confused, the man sat there, staring at the interviewer with a potent mixed expression on his face. [!] Svyatoslav Tsitnikov is well-versed in martial arts such as SAMBO, a soviet martial art used for military which translated to "self-defense without weapons". He is more than capable of defending himself, both with a firearm, armed, and without. He is also knowledgeable in Systema which is a Russian martial art consisting of hand-to-hand combat, grappling, knife-fighting, and firearms training. Both of which he had to learn when joining the military. How well does your character work with others? Svyatoslav Tsitnikov is a man that comes, and goes, it is hard to tell where he is, and what he is up to within the premise of the station. But, one thing is for certain, is that he is a resourceful man, and handy-man, all it takes is one call, and he will appear, ready to help with whatever it is that needs to be done. In general, Svyatoslav has no problem with people, unless someone were to purposefully push his patience to the limits, which is impossible unless you’re truly worse than the devil himself. Svyatoslav is a very patient man, and respects people alongside their differences, although he may be curious and asks questions, he holds no ill-intention, but to be more cautious and aware. He is always considerate of people’s comfort, alongside their limits, making sure that everyone is comfortable in the workplace and around him. After all, he wants to earn people’s trust if he were to work with them in such a life-risking career where young men and women can die. Is your character independent or a team player? Svyatoslav Tsitnikov for a man that does not speak a lot, Svyatoslav prefers to be in a team, rather than on his own. Which stems from being a part of a former brigade, he used to be in a squad when he was formerly serving in the military. He works mostly to serve, and listen to commands, rather than lead; a great listener, always prepared to spring into action when called upon, and adjusts himself to further synergize, and fit more with the cards he is dealt with, albeit people, the environment or the situation. He does speak up for what he believes is correct, and wrong, and questions leadership when he deems it to be going down on the wrong path. Svyatoslav isn’t entirely a ‘brainlessly follow’ the leader type of person, he speaks when he believes input is needed, and serves because it is for what he thinks is right. In addition, he is fine being an independent man, he holds himself up pretty well on his own without much problem. What makes your character unique? Svyatoslav Tsitnikov can come off as a non-serious man, who interacts, and speaks to people in an estranged way; a weird fellow some may say, and with his lack of vocabulary in the common language of Himera, he is restricted to deliver short and simple words that are easier to pronounce and remember in his little mind palace. Unlike his older brother, Svyatoslav does not appear to be the brightest one out of the two, but in comparison, people might put them in the ‘brawns’ and ‘brains’ dynamic, with the stark difference in intelligence, and physique. Although, unlike most tropes, Svyatoslav isn’t entirely ‘dumb’, he just lacks the academic aspiration compared to his brother, and his focus lies more with action; possessing fast wits paired with combat expertise to survive in a grueling situation of life and death. A silent strategist, that is restrained with little words, but his actions speak volumes. In his idle form, he does not really appear to be that man with his standard behavior. In addition, with how serious he may appear paired with his ‘silliness’, he does not consider himself to be ‘humorous’, oftentimes, he meant what he said, and does. Which convinces people more of his lack thereof, ‘smart’. In general, Svyatoslav does not quite register social queues like the average person, however, his focus lies on individuality, and unbeknownst to himself; he is more emotionally intelligent than most. Which can add more depth in his comedic timing, or ‘effort’ in comedy. Especially for someone that is subtle with his intentions, he’d wish for people to smile in tough times, and believes in the ideology that life is like a swamp filled with mud and difficulties, but that does not mean you constantly have to drown, and bathe yourself in sorrow. Life is too precious to waste it all with sadness. Doesn't hurt to smile sometimes, you know? Backstory [100+ words] Svyatoslav Tsitnikov wasn't the only child in the household, he grew up with an older brother; Wolffe Tsitnikov, although they do not speak often, and he does not show it, but he has some admiration towards his brother, looking up to him like a guide. He has a pretty stable relationship with his parents though, he's not one to talk to them often either, but he still supports them like how they supported him. He constantly would check on them, if it isn't needed, he'd make sure everyone in the family is alright, this type of behavior has been with him ever since he was younger. As a child, Svyatoslav always has this sense of responsibility to help others, he seemed to empathize with not just people, but animals as well, at a young age, a lot of his family consider him as a cry-baby with how much emotion, and attachment he seemed to pour onto a stray, or stranger, if he spots an animal, or another kid hurt, he'd often lend a hand to help them whenever it is needed, doing his best with what knowledge he has as a little child. Although, he often cries a heavy downpour when he sees a roadkill, or a dead animal in the streets, and stubbornly refuse to eat meat in the same day. The reason why he does this is unknown, but he seemed to care a lot for others, person or not, stranger or familiar. When he just merely ten-years old, Svyatoslav found a dead body laying in the middle of a forest when him, and his family were out hunting during the winter. The boy strayed too far from the path, and ended up seeing something he shouldn't have. It was a brutal image, and an image Svyatoslav remembered to this day, it has greatly affected his mental stability; seeing the body at such a young age, but it has also made him realize how valuable life can be, how easy it is to lose one and how grateful one can be to be alive. But there is one realization that stuck to him, is that how painful, and overwhelmed with painstakingly sadness, drowned in so much emotion that one must have been to be left to die alone like that. As he grew older, Svyatoslav stopped the habit of crying, instead it is replaced with a sense of companionship, and a proper burial for the dead creatures he'd find in the streets or forests. He is often found lingering in the area where he recently buried the animal, taking out a smoke, and accompanying the dead, maybe this is his new way to cope? Hm, no that's not it. To Svyatoslav it is to accompany the dead is a way to let them know that they are not in solitude, even in the afterlife. To let them know, even in this cruel life, that there was at least someone out there with the decency to care, no matter how painful it must have felt dying, and mistreated. One must always offer respect to those that are gone, because life is a treasure one must treat with value. After highschool, Svyatoslav Tsitnikov joined the military, he didn't consider himself 'smart' or motivated to succeed further in his academics if he were to go to college, but he didn't want to be jobless either, and he didn't want to be work in retail, construction, or in the factory either. He didn't want to disappoint his parents with low-paying jobs. So he chose to serve the military as his ticket to earn for a living. He didn't really thought much of it, until he found a sense of purpose in his battalion; a friend of his, Misha Papanov, the boy filled with bigger dreams, he wanted to become a Spetsnaz one day, and fulfil his dreams as someone who complete what's deem difficult, or to most the impossible, to challenge himself.. And make everyone in his life proud of his achievements. "Life is like a pool, there's levels to it.. Everyone starts one feet in the kiddie pool, up until they go deeper, and deeper.. Drowning is apart of the learning process, but staying afloat is the next level. Why be safe, and stay in the kiddie pool, Svyatoslav?" "Aren't you wasting your talents by staying safe? Don't you want to swim with the sharks? And save more lives, and be able to do more? While being the best?" But, Svyatoslav Tsitnikov didn't share the same aspirations, he was just a simple young man that only wanted to work, and have a roof on his head up until.. He saw the light dim in Misha's eyes when that dream was taken away from him. An accident no one can control, and Misha wasn't the same after that. Svyatoslav Tsitnikov stayed strong, where Misha couldn't, and that feeling was unbearable to Svyatoslav, watching a man throw his dreams away, and change to a totally new person, a broken man.. He's still alive, but watching him, staying by his side for long, made him feel like he was just accompanying a husk, a body with no soul. It reminded him of the dead-body he found in the forest that day. "It must be painful when your world turns dark. I'm sorry that I couldn't do much at the time, my friend." "It won't bring back what's lost, but I wish to be better, so history won't repeat itself." "And be strong to help mend the weak; it's the best thing to do, right?" Instead of being stuck in a life of melancholy and tragedy, Svyatoslav chose to move on with a torch lit in his hands, determined to become better, and to prove to himself he's someone one can rely on, people that can trust, and look up to. A beacon of light, to achieve what's deemed to be impossible. Not just an achievement, but something more meaningful. He wanted to honor, the old friend he once knew, Svyatoslav Tsitnikov worked hard to join the special operations with utmost determination, and tenacity, he worked hard, night and day, until he became a capable man of strength; both mentally and physically. Svyatoslav Tsitnikov didn't agree, nor like Russia's decisions, and political actions in the present-day. He chose to leave the country, and follow his brother in Himera. He'd still want to work in a field of action, and with his past experiences, he was obligated to join the Police Department. Level of education [Associates, Bachelors, Masters, etc.] A high school diploma. Svyatoslav immediately joined the military after highschool, and served for a few years before going through a police academy. Scenarios: If charged by an armed delinquent, how should you react? “If a man is running at me in full-speed.” [!] He clasps his hands together, with both pointer fingers sticking out as he forms finger guns, pointing towards the wall in front of him. [!] “I take out my taser. Bam!” He lifted up his fingers now, jerking them upwards towards the ceiling to mimic a recoil. “Pzzzzt.. They down from shock.” [!] Was that.. His attempts to make an electric noise? [!] “After-wordz.. I take weapon, and..” He wrapped his fingers around his wrist, mimicking hand-cuffs, “This.. Erh..” He paused, trying to remember the word, “Cups? Qwuaffs? Hand-Cage?” He snapped his fingers, finally recalling the word as he spoke with dumb-founded confidence, “Hand-wraps!” He tapped his chest, proud of himself, as he continued, “Next, I call for backup, notifying of the area, and situation.” While you are at the station, another officer sends out a distress signal. What do you do? “I check cameras, body-cams, get sense of situation and location before-hand. And inform the others what I see. Never go alone! Even if it is distress signal, always grab buddy, and if I see tons of people through cameras, grab a ton of buddies before running to the officer in trouble.” You are surrounded by several armed individuals; how do you react? “I am not main character, so I press the distress signal. One against several armed bad men? That is not very good for me, the best I can do is stall until officer buddies arrive. Do not engage in combat if it is possible, unless necessary, make sure that they stay in one place and are distracted, so that officer buddies arrive and capture them.” You believe a higher up officer is abusing their power, what do you do? “Grab evidence, and report the findings to the commissioner. Higher-ups are tricky, but I do not like serving the corrupt, so I grab as much relevant and reliable information, photo-evidence, cameras, audio clips, and more. Do not just go by word of mouth, be more realistic.”
