Sasaki-Maeng Age: 26 Character backstory and description (over 200 words): Backstory: Ioane Yasui, formerly known as Yunishi Yasui was born on December 1st, 1998, in a mansion just in the city of Tokyo, Japan. In the city Ioane had lived in, almost everyone there knew his family and their lifestyle. He was well lived off growing up since his family was known as one of the richest families in Japan overall. He had only one sibling at the time named Rin and they were twins but when the two turned 2 years old, their parents had a fatal death and they were forced to move to Seoul, Korea with their grandparents. Ioane’s father and mother ran a well-known business that was known all around the world. His parents expected him to be on his best behavior and for him to take over the company one day with his sister Rin but Ioane didn’t have any interest in running the company at all, unlike his sister. —------------------------------------------- —------------------------------------------- When Ioane was growing up, he didn’t have an easy life as you think he would. At the age of 12 years old, he was forced to participate in company meetings with his grandparents and was trained to run the company when they weren’t around. Rin was jealous of the amount of attention that Ioane had gotten from his grandparents and she decided that it would be better for him to not get involved with the company. She had done drastic things to Ioane for him to back away from the company and told him that he was worthless countless times. One day his grandparents both fell ill and Ioane had to step up to become the new CEO of the company, Rin was stuck at home taking care of their grandparents. Their grandparents needed round-the-clock care but Rin didn’t care and went off to do other things with her friends. When Ioane got home he found both his grandparents on the floor of their living room, They were fatally shot just like what had happened to his parents. He waited for Rin to come home before confronting her about what she could have prevented. Rin exclaimed that it wasn’t her fault and that it should’ve been him at home taking care of them and her as CEO of the company. The people who had murdered his parents were the same people who murdered his grandparents. When Ioane and Rin had realized this they became more careful of their surroundings and had extra security when outside of the walls of their mansion. One day, those people returned and went after Ioane and Rin. Unfortunately, Ioane had taken a bullet wound to the chest to save Rin from getting shot and was rushed to the hospital, fortunately, Ioane had survived the surgery and Rin had pleaded for forgiveness. At the age of 15, the two finally realized that their lives were in danger, they decided to leave the company behind where they had lived most of their childhood. Rin had no connections or friends but saw a newspaper article about a decent high school and college in Fujisawa, Japan. They later changed their identities completely–new names, appearances, and most importantly connections, to get away from all the wild festivities and depressing surroundings that filled their minds with every step they took and in every waking moment of their day. —------------------------------------------- —------------------------------------------- After they settled down, in what they call their new home, their relationship with each other grew thinner than it already was. Eventually, they were able to become civil with each other considering that they were adopted into a new family named the Sasaki Family. They spent 2 years with that family until they ghosted the twins and left no word on where they had gone, so once again Ioane and his sister were homeless, they fought every night for food and shelter. Ioane did drastic things to get what he wanted, he joined multiple groups that were bad influences on him, and of course his sister didn’t approve but let him do what he wanted. During this point in time in his life, he met many amazing people such as Khoa, Aloisia, and Lenore. They didn’t approve of his doings and always bickered with him for it. Ioane had finally realized his dangerous acts and finally decided it was time for him to start thinking about his life again and he did just that. Fortunately, Ioane had found a new family he never knew he had, his parents and grandparents had hidden a secret from him all his life that he had another family who are named the Maeng family. The Maeng family had taken in Ioane and Rin as their own and the two finally got the support and love they have been yearning for all their life. Ioane lived the rest of his high school career in peace and eventually graduated and went to college. Ioane was the smart sibling and always had good grades, his longest dream was to become a surgeon, a cardiac surgeon to be precise, he studied day and night and worked hard to make his dreams a reality and eventually, his hard work paid off. —------------------------------------------- —------------------------------------------- Eventually, Ioane graduated college and graduated with his bachelor’s, and master’s, and was able to get a PhD as a cardiac surgeon at a very young age. His close friends and his brother decide to leave Fujisawa and decide he should leave Fujisawa behind as well as his siblings to start anew once again. —------------------------------------------- —------------------------------------------- Description: Height: Ioane would be 6’3 Hair: His black hair would be wavy, sitting around his shoulder-length Eyes: Has Hazel eyes with various specs of blue lingering in them Features: He has a scar that rests just barely below his right eye and another across his face and trails down to his neck. He wears rings and has two helixes, an eyebrow piercing, and a lip piercing. He would also have a spider tattoo just on his right forearm. Appearance-wise, he’s visibly lean and has a mesomorphic build.
